Grapple for Remote Pick-up
Stainless Grapple
Stainless Steel Grapple 6000lb Capacity

Painted Grapple

Powder Coated Grapple 6000 lb Capacity

Introduction:
The Grapple Hook grew from the desire to be able to pick up a load for transfer without the need to have ground personnel at the pick-up site. This design allows for the Helicopter to pick up the load by grabbing a line that is stretched out a minimum of five (5) feet above the ground. The design of the grapple prevents the possiblility of loosing the line after it is snagged and the Helicopter begins to lift the load.

The testing that has been completed, indicates that the rope that is snagged will go into more than one and as many as all of the grapple hooks as the grapple swings through the pick-up process. Please take notice in the video how easily and smoothly the line slides through the grapple hooks as the Helicopter begins the lift process.

Product Features:

  • Hooks designed to prevent the
line that is snagged from escaping.

  • Swivel is integrated into the Grapple to allow for the load twisting.

  • The Grapple main hooks are reinforced with a wear section to prevent scuffing.

  • The Grapple has an integrated spring to prevent shock to the load during pick-up or in flight.
