Electric Remotely Operated Hook System
The solenoid-operated cargo hook or remote hook with swivel supports an external load under a helicopter. It can be operated by the crew in the helicopter and does not require a ground crew to deliver a load.

The remotely-controlled cargo hook, aka remote hook or simply cargo hook, is used to engage, lift, transport and release external loads from a cable suspended from a helicopter It is to be used as an Electrical Long Line Remote Hook.
